This is a short video made by local OCAD student Nelson Phillips. The funding for this workshop was made possible through The Leflar Foundation and other vital funders (see acknowledgement at end of video). I thought you may wish to link it through your website or show it to the rest of your board. The beginning is a bit shaky but it improves quickly and I’m really proud of this accomplishment. We really made an impact on these kids’ lives that day. I’d love to talk to you more about the experience sometime.
Binaeshee-Quae came all the way from Pic River First Nation (north of Thunder Bay!) and Sid Bobb came from North Bay to lead the workshop. We paid for everything – busing, healthy lunch, facilitators, etc.
