Through the generous donations of individuals sucha as you, the Our Kids Bruce Grey also provides subsidies for children who have involvement with the Agency for a variety of reasons, but who are able to safely remain in the care of their parents with proper supervision.
Our Mission
The mission of Bruce Grey and Family Services Foundation, with the support of our donors, is to raise funds to strengthen our community by enhancing the well being of vulnerable children, youthand families through educations, prevention,enrichment and development.
Our VisionTo ensure the advancement of fundraising in Bruce and Grey counties to support:
– safe children;
– strong and permanent families; and
– supportive communities
We are extremely grateful for your support to our Summer Camp Campaign for 2013 which provided our children and youth with the opportunity to attend a day or an overnight camp, throughout the Bruce & Grey County depending on their individual circumstances.
If you ever had the chance as a child to participate in a campaign experience, I’m sure you’ll know what an incredible chance it is to make a real, concrete difference in the life of a child, not to mention provide some much needed respite for parents who are struggling to keep their youngster entertained throughout the long summer months. Our summer camp campaign objective for 2013 was $60,000.00.
We are enclosing a thank you response which we received from youngsters following this year’s experience. To say the least, they touch your heart and serve to remind us of the importance of immersion in all of the experiences life has to offer us as children.
Sincerely,
Cindy Wheeler
